This traditional variety of tea has been organically grown in Kumamoto Prefecture for over 40 years. This Hojicha is characterized by its ultra-low irritation, which reduces the caffeine content to one-fourth that of typical Hojicha. This is due to the fact that this tea is roasted at a much higher temperature for a longer period of time compared to the other types sold.
It is a single-origin tea, the native variety called "Yama-Cha".Ingredients: 100% Organic Hojicha (Kumamoto, Japan)
